Act 342 to proceed in Parliament after five Bills deferred

KUALA LUMPUR: The government has deferred tabling five Bills for their second and third reading in Dewan Rakyat, says Datuk Seri Dr Wan Junaidi Tuanku Jaafar.

"Based on Standing Order 62, I request that the Bills, items three until seven in the Order Papers, are to be deferred and read for the second and third reading at the next meeting," the Minister in Prime Minister's Department (Parliament and Law) said when raising the matter in Dewan Rakyat on Thursday (Dec 16).
